Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic model that views the mind as composed of different “parts,” each with its own roles, emotions, and intentions. At the core is the Self, a natural source of calm, clarity, and compassion. Some parts carry burdens from unprocessed trauma. The goal is to access the Self and relate to parts without judgment or agendas, allowing a natural healing process.
My name is Johanne Raluca Bastake, and I am an IFS therapist trained in France by the IFS Association, international partner of the IFS Institute. I support people in reconnecting with their inner resources and self-leadership. I offer online sessions and, when possible, in-person sessions. I divide my time between Bucharest and my home in the mountains, which I affectionately call The Cat Ashram in the Mountains.
